Living Farm are a private R&D and consulting company based in York, Western Australia. We provide contract research and agronomic consulting to a range of agribusinesses in the Western Australian wheatbelt, combining experience of on-ground agronomy with academic research.

Living Farm have a strong track record in plant breeding and are the current service providers for the NVT trials program in the Kwinana East and Albany port zones of Western Australia. As well as being NVT service providers, Living Farm also conduct plant breeding trials for all of the dominant breeding companies in Western Australia.

Living Farm are currently managing three GRDC funded Research Projects and have a proven track record of working in partnership with agricultural organisations and consortium members on large scale research.

Living Farm manage a number of independent R&D trials for regionally based grower groups across the state, as well as the company’s own group of farmer clients. As a result, Living Farm have built relationships with a number of leading farmers, which has in turn given us access to a range of quality trial sites over a range of soil types, rainfall zones and geographic areas.

CLIENTS

Living Farm work extensively with farmers, agribusiness, research institutions and government departments throughout Western Australia. They have built a solid and loyal client base and gained a reputation for returning quality trial sites and a high level of data integrity with a focus on open communication with clients.

  • Harvest equipment (such as plot headers and weigh trailers)
  • Drying facilities
  • Grain analysis processing
  • Irrigation systems
